About Apzura
Behind Apzura is not a corporation, but an idea that was born by the water.
Programming fascinated me as a teenager. When Apple released Swift Playgrounds, a program that let you learn to code right on the iPad, I saved up the money, dived in and taught myself the basics. Then life got in the way and I had to put the idea on hold for a while.
It came back while fishing. I wanted to document my catches and keep track of spots and weather, but everything was cumbersome, scattered across several apps, and for what I really needed there was simply no solution. So I built it myself.
About two years ago it was still a tool for myself. But the longer I developed it, the clearer it became: if I do this, I do it properly, and for everyone. A simple app became Fishfy, a fishing assistant with server-side calculations, automatic rules, and weather, water, and spot data that goes far beyond an ordinary notes app.
Logo, website, app, and concept, everything passed through my hands. That experience of carrying a product alone from the first line of code to release on the App Store is the foundation of Apzura today.
I share that experience: the same care, the same standard, for people whose idea is an app and who want someone to carry it all the way to the store.
